二、競賽日期 2019年5月11-12日（星期六、星期天）上午7:30起 (6:00開始報到)

三、報名時間 因應美方晶片處理作業時間，報名時間從即日起～5/6 12:00（中午） 截止

四、賽事地點 高雄義大世界｜高雄市大樹區學城路一段10號

五、賽事等級

（一）SUPER超級賽13KM+，25項障礙物

（二）SPRINT衝刺賽6KM+，20項障礙物

（三）KIDS小勇士賽0.8~3.2 KM，8項障礙物，不同的年齡層有不同的公里數，上午10:00開始

小勇士賽必須要由父母或法定監護人陪同參賽，父母或監護人需完成簽署未成年參賽同意書，報到時，陪同父母或法定監護人需出示含有照片之身分證件。若陪同參賽的成人非父母或法定監護人，需完成或出示以下事項：

1. 家長同意書-由家長或法定監護人簽署
2. 參賽同意書-由家長或法定監護人簽署
3. 陪同參賽的大人-需出示家長同意書，必須年滿18歲，並出示有照片之身分證件 
4. 每位小勇士於報到時將由工作人員給予一件紀念T，完賽後，由終點區工作人員掛上勝利的完賽獎牌。

五、完賽禮

完賽僅提供完賽T-shirt、完賽獎牌，皆由美國Spartan Race原廠生產製作

六、選手包

SPARTAN RACE 賽事「不會」於賽前寄送任何物資，所有物資皆賽事當天「現場報到領取」。選手包內容包括號碼頭戴、梯次手環、計時晶片、晶片手環。

七、競賽說明

所有賽制、障礙設備、完賽T-shirt、完賽獎牌皆由美國Spartan Race規劃、原廠生產製作，並來台組裝。

八、參賽資格：

（一）Super超級賽 和SPRINT衝刺賽：凡身心健康者皆可報名參賽，並遵守大會相關規範；年滿18歲者即可參加，14歲以上(包含滿14歲)～未滿18歲者請填寫家長同意書始可報名(同意書連結)，並請於競賽當日攜帶至現場，並於報到時遞交給工作人員。

（一）KIDS小勇士賽：凡年滿4歲-未滿14歲皆可參加(生日以賽事年份計算)，並請確實填寫家長同意書始可報名(同意書連結) ，並請於競賽當日攜帶至現場，並於報到時遞交給工作人員。

九、報名注意事項：若非不可抗拒因素退費之理由，例如：訃聞、生病、受傷、懷孕等證明，恕難受理退費。若為以上理由申請退費，請提供退費申請證明文件。退賽/延賽辦理細節請參考『退費、延賽及其他注意事項』

十、請務必確實填寫參賽資料，包括姓名、身分證字號、出生年月日（以西元為主）、參賽項目、完賽T尺寸等，一旦完成繳費，資料便無法更改。若您欲更改，將收取每人/250元手續費，若有變更需求點選下方網址申請繳費變更

十一、報名方式：

本次賽事為提供所有選手更好的服務，特別提供天悅及皇家優惠套裝組合，欲訂房者，報名完成後需憑訂單編號選擇天悅或皇家飯店住宿，所有梯次及訂房名額皆有限，敬請把握！

一律採網路報名，報名所需資料如下：

（一）姓名、性別、出生年月日、身分證字號（外籍人士須填寫護照號碼）、國籍、手機號碼、Email、完賽T-shirt尺寸、緊急聯絡人等

（二）繳費方式：

報名成立後請於24小時內完成付款，未於24小時內完成付款之訂單系統將自動取消；ATM繳費、全家超商代碼付款，以上繳費方式所產生之手續費皆由報名者自付。

1.信用卡付款（需於30分鐘內付款完成）

僅接受信用卡一次付清（VISA、Master Card、JCB信用卡）當您選擇此付款方式時， 結帳頁面將會帶您進行信用卡相關資料填寫，請您務必詳實填寫您的資料，以方便與發卡銀行做信用卡資料核對。

2. 全家便利商店代碼付款

單筆訂單總金額不足$1,500或超過$20,000 ，皆無法選用全家 FamiPort 代碼繳費方式

繳費機操作流程：於繳費機首頁點選「繳費」→「會員儲值繳費」→「KKTIX」→同意「閱讀條款」→輸入【繳款代碼】→ 再次確認「繳款編號」→確認「繳款金額與項目」→ 列印繳費單 → 並於10分鐘內至櫃台繳費

3.ATM & 全家帶碼繳費期限為24小時內，請務必於期限內進行繳款。 例：3/15的09:02完成報名，繳費期限為24小時內，表示3/16的09:02前您必須前往繳費。

4.請注意完成報名手續並繳費成功之選手，報名網路上之資料即無法修改；請於繳費前先行確認報名資料是否正確。

5.未依照規定時間內繳交報名費者、繳交報名費時已額滿、報名費轉帳金額不足或手續不全者，皆視同未完成報名，無法再進行繳費。報名費繳費完成後即可到報名系統上之本賽會【訂單查詢/修改】 查詢繳款狀況

6.已完成報名手續並繳費成功之選手，網路報名之資料即無法修改。請於繳費前先行確認報名資料是否正確，並於轉帳後至原報名網頁確認繳費是否成功。

十二、退費、延賽及其他注意事項（很重要）⚠️⚠️⚠️

再次申明，競賽是榮耀，請審慎評估各方條件，再決定參賽與否，既要成為一位斯巴達勇士，請全力以赴。

本次賽事搭配飯店優惠套裝組合，飯店退費之流程與比例請參照訂房頁面。

(一)報名、訂房後，若於賽前得知無法參與活動，請提出退費申請證明文件，若確認退費，將收取手續費＄250元，此手續費以每人計算。退費須為不可抗拒之理由，需出示證明，例如：訃聞、生病、受傷、懷孕等證明；若您因朋友無法如期參賽欲辦理退費，很抱歉，恕不辦理！

此退費區間之判定以提出申請日為主，請備退款帳戶影本與訂單編號、退賽人員姓名EMAIL至 kwankwan0857@gmail.com申請退費。退費辦理時間及退還百分比如下說明：

2019/2/24（23:59）前申請退費：退還總價之70%，另酌收250元手續費

2019/2/25-4/21（23:59前）申請退費：退還總價之50%，另酌收250元手續費。

2019/4/22凌晨00:00起，恕不接受申請。

備註:信用卡退費，僅限刷卡日之後40日曆天內申請，將不退還相關手續費。

退款時間: 2019/2/24（23:59）前申請退費：退還總價之70%，另酌收250元手續費，費用於3/20退款。

2019/2/25-4/21（23:59前）申請退費：退還總價之50%，另酌收250元手續費,2019/2/25-4/21申請退費，一律在5/20統一退款。

 (二) 若您欲將報名資格延用至下一場賽事，另酌收300元手續費，請注意，須於賽前七日內提出(5/4 23:59前)；若您於5/4~5/10(23:59前提出)則需收取500元手續費，再次提醒，活動當日或之後提出申請無效。

 (三) 其他問題

1. 訂單成立後，取消或是修改訂單數量，在尚未付款前仍可以取消或變更，若要取消請點選「取消訂單」 按鈕，系統會自動取消且不保留，若需變更訂單，請您盡速與我們聯繫。
2. 訂單成立後，無法更改付款方式，若是刷卡失敗的狀況，也無法再變更其他付款方式或再次刷卡同筆訂單編號，請重新成立新的訂單。
3. 報名手續完成者，不論任何理由不得要求更換人名、參賽梯次、衣服尺寸，退費則依退費事項辦理。
4. 經主辦單位同意更換人名、參賽梯次、衣服尺寸，將酌收每位選手250元手續費，受理日期4/1~5/1(23:59前受理)。

4.競賽獎金說明如下：

• 如果獲獎人是我國境內居住的個人，或在我國境內有固定營業場所的營利事業、或於一課稅年度內在臺灣地區居留、停留合計滿183天之大陸地區人民及在臺灣地區有固定營業場所之大陸地區法人、團體或其他機構，要按照給付金額扣繳10%，惟應扣繳稅額不超過新臺幣2,000元者，免予扣繳，但應依規定列單申報主管稽徵機關及填發免扣繳憑單。
• 如果獲獎人不是我國境內居住的個人，或是在國內沒有固定營業場所的營利事業、或於一課稅年度內在臺灣地區居留、停留合計未滿183天之大陸地區人民及在臺灣地區無固定營業場所之大陸地區法人、團體或其他機構，一律要按照給付金額扣繳20%，並列單申報。

  （六）寄物說明：

 大會將於5/11上午08:30，5/12上午06:00起接受物品保管，開始辦理寄物，每次寄物收費100元，並於當日18:30前領回。貴重物品建議請自行保管，若有遺失恕不負責。

（七）競賽注意事項：

Spartan Race是全球最厲害的障礙路跑，所有競賽選手，絕不怯懦，勇於克服障礙挑戰，當然還要通過嚴苛的剝皮跳考驗；同時，我們鼓勵相互合

相互激勵，只要通過層層關卡的挑戰，必能成為真正的斯巴達！Aroo~

1. 請服從各關關主的裁判與指示，一旦您挑戰障礙物失敗，您必須在關主的見證下做滿30個剝皮跳（Burpee https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uX1IfVFkm6s）以示懲罰，以利進行下一關挑戰
2. 所有參賽選手需於17:30完成競賽，一旦超過17:30即失去完賽資格，更無法領取完賽T-shirt及完賽獎牌。
3. 這是一個榮耀的競賽，也關乎您是否可晉級Spartan Race世錦賽的挑戰，故嚴禁參賽選手互換晶片、禁止配戴他人晶片、禁止一人配戴2個或3個以上晶片，違者將取消參賽資格，成績不予計算。
4. 晶片使用操作方式將於報到時提供，請參賽者於出發前詳細閱讀晶片使用說明，或依現場工作人員協助操作；同時，競賽當日報到處將設置晶片說明POP，每個梯次出發前，工作人員也將再次提醒，請參賽選手競賽當日務必詳細聆聽，一旦沒按照規範使用晶片，導致無成績者，一概不負責！
5. 參賽選手請詳盡評估自身的能力與實力，是否具有在時間內完成競賽的可能，不得以任何理由要求換名、參賽梯次、衣服尺寸或退費，亦無不得因無法參賽將報名資格轉讓。無完成報名者不具參賽資格，嚴禁代跑，若發生代跑情事，大會將取消資格。
6. 參賽選手於競賽出發前，若發生身體不適，請勿競賽；競賽期間身體不適，應立即停賽。若勉強競賽而發生事故，大會概不負責。
7. 請參賽選手務必衡量自身狀況，量力而為，並做好必要之防熱保護措施；若身體不適，或有中暑癥兆，應立即停止競賽，並向醫護站或工作人員請求協助；為保護參賽選手安全，若經大會醫護人員現場判定不宜繼續參賽，大會得強制禁賽。
8. 大會於現場僅做必要緊急醫療救護，並為參賽選手投保公共意外險，參賽選手若因本身疾患引起之病症不在承保範圍內，而公共意外險只因意外所受之傷害做理賠。(所有細節依投保公司之保險契約為準)
9. 競賽前一週內，根據中央氣象局數據顯示，競賽當日如遇海陸上颱風警報、地震或天然災害，或空氣懸浮微粒(PM2.5)指數超標等不可抗拒力之因素，大會為考量參賽者之安全，有權宣布延期或調整時間，恕不退還報名費。
10. 依美國競賽辦法，若遇下雨，競賽仍正常進行；若遇雷擊，競賽則宣佈暫停，視天候狀況隨時恢復競賽。
11. 主辦單位將保有更改競賽辦法、規範、注意事項、流程等之權利；競賽規範內容如有未盡事宜，將陸續於Spartan Race Taiwan 臉書粉絲專頁補充公告。
12. 提醒您因某些障礙關卡需涉水或遇水，建議勿攜帶電子用品，以免造成損害。

（八）保險：事關自身權益，請詳細閱讀；依據美國Spartan Race競賽規範，主辦單位「強烈」建議所有參賽選手應自行投保個人運動保險，礙於台灣法令無法為您於本網站代購。

1. 公共意外險承保範圍：依照中華民國104年內政部研訂發文字號內授消字 第1040823601號之規定投保。
2. 特別不保事項
   1. 個人疾病導致運動傷害。
   2. 因個人體質或因自身心血管所致之症狀，例如休克、心臟病、糖尿病、熱衰竭、中暑、高山症、癲癇、脫水等。對於因本身疾患所引起之病症將不在保險範圍內，而公共意外險只承擔因外來意外所受之傷害理賠。
   3. 選手如遇與跟第二項所述之疾病之病史，建議選手慎重考慮自身安全，自行加保個人人身意外保險。
   4. 如您曾發生過以下病況及有以下疾病狀況，屬猝死高危險群，請諮詢醫師專業的判斷及請勿勉強參加。
   5. 不明原因的胸部不適於（胸悶、胸痛）、不明原因的呼吸困難、不明原因頭暈、突然失去知覺、高血壓（>140/90 mm Hg）、心臟病、腎功能異常、糖尿病、高血脂（總膽固>240mg/D1）、家族心臟病史（一等親在60歲前發生心臟病或猝死）、癲癇。
3. 本會於現場執行緊急醫療救護，選手若因自身疾患引起之病症發作，則不在主辦單位保險範圍內。大會保險均以「公共意外」所受之傷害作為理賠承保範圍。
4. 嚴正告誡，競賽中若您覺得身體不適，請立即停止競賽，並尋求醫護人員的協助！

 

🏃🏻 購 票 方 式 說 明  

1. 本節目網站購票僅接受會員購買，購票前請先"加入會員"並需完成"電子郵件地址"驗證，以便進行購票流程，建議可於會員"設定"中的"報名預填資料"先行存檔「姓名」和「手機」，可減少購票時間快速進行下一步。
2. 為了確保您的權益，強烈建議您，在註冊會員或是結帳時填寫的聯絡人電子郵件，盡量不要使用Yahoo或Hotmail郵件信箱，以免因為擋信、漏信，甚至被視為垃圾郵件而無法收到『訂單成立通知信』。
3. 訂單成立通知信可能因其他因素未能寄達，僅提供交易通知之用，未收到訂單成立通知信不代表交易沒有成功，又或是刷卡付款失敗，請於付款期限之內再次嘗試刷卡（即便收到銀行的授權成功的簡訊或電子郵件），若訂單逾期取消，則表示訂單真的沒有成立，請再重新訂購。一旦無法確認於網站上的訂單是否交易成功，請至會員帳戶的"訂單"查詢您的消費資料，只要是成功的訂單，皆會顯示您所消費的票券明細，若查不到您所訂購的票券，表示交易並未成功，請重新訂票。
4. KKTIX系統沒有固定的清票時間，只要消費者沒有於期限內完成付款，未付款的席次就會陸陸續續釋放出來，消費者可隨時留意網頁或是機台是否有釋出可售票券張數。

8. 若有任何形式非供自用而加價轉售（無論加價名目為代購費、交通費、補貼等均包含在內）之情事經查屬實者，將依社會秩序維護法第64條第2款逕向警方檢舉。
9. 消費者必須以真實姓名購票及填寫有效個人資訊，一旦以虛假資料購買票券已經涉及「偽造私文書罪」，依照刑法第二百十條：「偽造、變造私文書，足以生損害於公眾或他人者，處五年以下有期徒刑。」 ，主辦單位及KKTIX皆有權利立即取消該消費者訂單，請勿以身試法！
10. 購票前請詳閱注意事項，一旦購票成功視為同意上述所有活動注意事項。
11. 本活動所收集之資料，包括：姓名、電話、E-mail及住址等資訊，將供主辦單位做為賽事設定、 保險、物資領取、後續處理、聯絡及紀錄等行銷目的使用，並不做其他用途，亦不會分享予第三人供其用於行銷目的使用。

Same as the other Spartan races, the authentic equipment and obstacles will be originally from US. Our US Spartan Race event planners design the unique race course experience base on specific Taiwan terrain.

Our first ever 2016 Spartan Sprint race was held in Bali, New Taipei City, and got favorable reception from people who participated.
Spartan Race Taiwan then challenged our fellow Spartans by introducing a Spartan Super race in Cijin, Kaohsiung as one stop of the qualifying events in APAC championship series n May 2017.
In October 2017, we introduced an advanced version of Sprint race in Taoyuan, with our premier Spartan Kids race.
In 2018, Spartan Race Taiwan had its 2^nd race in Taoyuan, attracting more than 6,500 racers, with more than 24,000 participants accumulated within 4 races.

Spartan Beast race and Trifecta Weekend were first introduced in Taiwan October 2018 in the location of Kaohsiung, attracting more than 8,000 participants to join the feast.

5. Race Level：
Spartan SUPER: 13km with more than 25 obstacles
Spartan SPRINT: 6km with more than 20 obstacles
Spartan KIDS: 0.8-3.2km with more than 8 obstacles, starting from 10:00am.
Spartan KIDS must be accompanied by their parents or guardian during the race. They must have a waiver signed by their parents or guardian. Their parents or guardian must present a photo ID. If the adult accompanying the kid is not a parent or guardian, then they must present (one of) the following:
1) A consent signed by a parent or guardian.
2) A waiver signed by a parent or guardian,
3) The adult accompanying must be at least 18 years old and must show a signed parent’s consent and his/her photo ID.

6. Every racer will receive a finisher’s medal and t-shirt, which are manufactured originally from Spartan.

7. Racer package: Spartan Race WILL NOT mail out any materials. All materials will be sent out to racers at the registration site on the race day. The racer’s package will include a headband with a unique BIB number, a heat wristband, a timing chip and a wristband for the timing chip.

8. Who can register:

Spartan SUPER and Spartan SPRINT: Anyone who’s mentally and physically healthy can register for the Spartan Race. All registrants shall follow the rules by the organizer. Participant from 14 years old or below 18 years old need to fill in a consent form from parents to attend the race and present to registration staff on the race day.

Spartan KIDS: Participants from 4 years old to 14 years old (based on the year born). They must have a waiver signed by their parents or guardian. Parents will need to fill in a consent form to attend the race and present to registration staff on the race day.

9. Cautions: If there are no irresistible reasons to apply for a refund, we would be unable to refund for you. If your reasons are eligible, please provide documents that support your absence for the race. Please refer to terms in ‘Refund’.

10. Please make sure you have your details entered correctly, including your name, ID number, DOB, race type and shirt size. If you need your details changed, service fee of NT$250 will be charged. 11. Registration method: Online registration only.

• For this event, we provide an accommodation bundle with E-DA Royal Hotel and E-Da Sky Hotel with a special price. For those who are interested, you can also book your room through this registration platform. Limited rooms available.

12. Required information for registration: Gender, name in English, date of birth, identification number (passport number for non-Taiwanese participants), nationality, mobile phone number, e-mail address, and size for the T-shirt.

13. Payment method:

After placement of your order, please pay within 24hrs. If payment is not completed within 24hrs, your order will be cancelled automatically.

ATM transaction and FamiPort payment will incur service charges, which shall be by your own expenses.

• Credit card

Only full payment is accepted for credit card payments. (VISA, Master Card, JCB) When you checkout for credit card payment, the system will ask you to fill in your credit card details on the payment page. Please make sure your credit card details are given correctly to allow verification from your issuing bank. 3% of processing fee will be charged for all payments.

• FamiPort payment

Only orders above NT$1,500 can be proceeded through FamiPort payment. Procedure of payment for FamiPort : Select ‘繳費’ from the main screen of the FamiPort machine, then select ’會員儲值繳’→‘KKTIX’→’同意「閱讀條款」’→Key in serial number→‘再次確認「繳款編號」’→’確認「繳款金額與項目」’→Print out the payment details→pay at the counter within 10mins.

• Once the payment is successfully completed, booking details are unchangeable. Therefore, please make sure your details are correct before you make your payment.
• Once your order has been placed, you will have 24hrs to complete the payment. For example, if you placed your order at 3/15 09:02, you will need to pay by 3/16 09:02.
• Insufficient payments or incomplete registration will be considered as booking failure.

14. Refund

Due to the special accommodation deal with E-DA hotels, refund policy for the rooms will align with the following rules.

1) It is an honor to attend the race, therefore please consider carefully your capability and capacity before deciding to participate in the race.

2) After registration, if you are aware that you are unable to attend the race, please submit a proof for refund application. Once the refund is confirmed, NTD250 processing fee will be charge. Reasons for refunds must be irresistible causes, such as illness or pregnancy. Proof of these causes should be provided. Refund periods and refund amounts are listed below. The date of refund application will determine the type of refund you will receive. Please prepare a copy of your bank account and order number to kwankwan0857@gmail.com for refund.

a) Application before 2019/2/24 (before 23:59) will receive 70% of registration fee. Additional NTD250 will be charged. Refund will be proceeded on 3/20.
b) Application during 2019/2/25-2019/4/21 (before 23:59) will receive 50% of registration fee. Additional NTD250 will be charged. Refund will be proceeded on 5/20.

c) From 2019/4/22 (0:00) will receive no refund, but the applicant’s qualification can be applicable in the next Spartan Taiwan Race. (If the qualification is extended to the next race, there will be no refund offered. If unable to attend the next Spartan Taiwan Race, there will be no refund offered.)

d) If you want to defer you race, additional NTD300 will be charged if your application is before 2019/5/4 23:59. Please note that if you choose to defer your race within 7 days before the race day (2019/5/4-2019/5/10 23:59), additional NTD500 will be charged. Deferring on the race day will be inapplicable.

15. Registration FAQs:

1) After the order is placed, you can either cancel or modify it before the payment is made. If you wish to cancel the order, click on [Cancel order] button. The system will then cancel your order without keeping any records. If you wish to modify your order, please contact us as soon as possible.

2) After the order is placed, you cannot change the payment method. If credit card payment fails, the payment method cannot be changed and you can’t use the credit card again for the same order. You will need to create a new order.

3) When registration is completed, if your requests for any changes on racer’s name, race heat or size of the T-shirt is approved by the organizer, a service charge of NT$250 will be incurred. Period for change is 2019/4/1-2019/5/1 (before 23:59).

16 Finisher medal, finisher T-shirt and Limited Spartan Race Taiwan Event T-shirt

1) If you are able to finish the race within the given time (before 17:30), you will be able to receive a finisher medal and a finisher T-shirt. Racers can collect these items in the counter of reward session.

2) Limited Spartan Race Taiwan Event T-shirt can be collect on race day ONLY.

17. Awards and Prize money: 2017 Spartan Race Taiwan in Taoyuan only offer prizes to Sprint Elite and Kids Competitive.

 

ELITE SUPER Male/Female	The prize money for the 1st place is NTD13,000, 2nd place is NTD10,00, 3rd place is NTD7,000, 4th place is NTD5,000, 5th place is NTD4,000, 6th place is NTD3,000, 7th place is NTD2,500, 8th place is NTD2,000, 9th place is NTD1,500, 10th place is NTD1,000.
TEAM RACE	Prize money for the team: 1st place is NTD10,000, 2nd place is NTD8,000, 3rd place is NTD6,000.
AGE GROUP	Age groups include 14-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50+, top 3 racers will receive awards.
KIDS COMPETITIVE	1st place would be rewarded with a study coupon worth NT$4,000, 2nd place a study coupon worth NT$3,000 and 3rd place a study coupon worth NT$2,000.

If the winner for prize money is an R.O.C. resident, or a P.R.C resident/foreigner has a profitable business, or stayed in Taiwan for more than 183 days within a tax year, will need to pay 10% of tax. If the winner for prize money is not an R.O.C. resident, or a P.R.C resident/foreigner who does not have a profitable business, or stayed in Taiwan for less than 183 days within a tax year, will need to pay 20% of tax.

18. Bag Check: You can leave your personal belongings at the Bag Check area on race day. Bag Check service available at 6:00. You can pick up your stuff after the race with the headband number before 18:30 on race day. Each baggage will be charged NTD100. Please keep your own valuable belongings and we will not be responsible for the loss.

19. During the race: Spartan Race is the best obstacle race in the world. All racers should not fear or give up. Racers are ready to take up challenges along the way. Of course, there are also burpees! During the course, we also encourage partnership. We encourage racers helping out each other and inspiring each other. Once they complete all the obstacles, they will become a true Spartan. Aroo~

1) Please follow the instructions and guidelines given by the staff at each obstacle. In the event of failure, you will need to do 30 burpees as penalty before you can proceed to the next obstacle. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uX1IfVFkm6s)

2) All participants shall finish the race by 17:30. Those who are unable to finish by 17:30 will be considered as disqualified and won’t be able to pick up the finisher T-shirt and the medal.

3) Spartan is a race that honors integrity and honesty. The chip plays an essential role on whether you can advance to the next level of Spartan race. Therefore, it is strictly forbidden to switch your chip with other racers, wear someone else’s chip, or wear more than 1 chip at the same time. If you do any of these acts, you will be disqualified and the scores won’t be recorded.

4) The instructions on how to use the timing chip will be given when you register on event date. Before you head to the race, please read the instructions carefully or ask the assistance from the staff at the race. In addition, there will be a POP on chip instruction at the REGISTRATION. The staff will also give the instructions again right before each session starts. Please keep the instructions in mind. If your results are not correctly logged due to misusage of the chip, Spartan Race Taiwan will not be held responsible for it.

5) Please evaluate your own capacity and capability before deciding to attend the race. You will not be allowed to change the name of racer, race category, size of the T-shirt or ask for a refund for whatever reasons. You cannot give your spot to other people if you are not able to attend the race. Those who have not registered cannot take part in the race. It is also strictly forbidden to race on behalf of others. If discovered, the racer will be disqualified.

6) If you feel unwell before the race starts, please don’t force yourself to participate. If you start feeling unwell during the race, you should stop. If you force yourself and result in an unfortunate incident, Spartan Race Taiwan shall not bear any responsibilities for it.

7) Please do keep your safety and wellness as top priority and don’t force yourself. Take all necessary measures to prevent yourself from having a heat stroke. If you start feeling unwell or suffer from heat stroke, you should take a break from the race and ask help from the medical station or race staff. To ensure everyone’s safety, Spartan Race Taiwan shall forcibly stop a racer from continuing if the medical team finds his/her condition is not well enough to stay on the race.

8) Spartan Race Taiwan will have a medical team on-site to provide necessary medical help and purchase public liability insurance for all the racers. Any illness or syndrome resulted from the racer’s personal physical condition will not be covered by the insurance policy. The policy only covers and reimburses for the injury resulted from accidents. All details are subject to the terms and clauses stipulated in the policy contract.

9) According to the data released by Central Weather Bureau prior to the race, in case there are any natural disasters or force majeure such as the announcement of sea/land typhoon warnings, earthquakes or thunder stroke or the PM 2.5 index is too high, the organizers shall postpone the race or change event time considering the safety of the race participants. The registration fee will not be refunded.

10) If any supplementary regulations are required for the race, further announcements will be made on the Facebook page of Spartan Race Taiwan.

20. Insurance We strongly recommend you to purchase your own sports insurance. However, due to legal regulations, we are unable to help you purchase through this website.

1) The coverage of public liability insurance: Spartan Race Taiwan will purchase an insurance coverage in accordance with the regulations stipulated in document no. 1040823601 issued by Ministry of the Interior in 2015.

2) Description on the public liability insurance policy for more than 10,000 insured persons:

a) Liability insurance-bodily injury per person: NTD 5 million
b) Liability insurance-bodily injury per accident: NTD 150 million
c) Property loss and damage per accident: NTD 2 million
d) Maximum claim during coverage: NTD 304 million
The policy covers accidents occurred to the insured person or the employee while s/he is running on the racing route stipulated in the contract. The policy also covers accidents occurred to the insured person at the buildings, in the pathways, or at the facilities/machines.

3) Exclusions

a) Injuries resulted from individual illness.

b) Syndromes resulted from personal physical/cardio conditions such as shock, heart disease, diabetes, heat exhaustion, heat stroke, acute mountain sickness, epilepsy, dehydration and etc. These will not be covered. Public liability insurance only covers injuries and damages caused by accidents.

c) For racers who have a history of the illness mentioned in (b), please consider your safety and health seriously and purchase individual accident insurance.

d) If you have had the following illness or syndrome, you are very likely to suffer from cardiac diseases or even sudden death. Please consult a doctor before registration or please refrain from joining the race.

e) Chest discomfort (chest tightness or chest pain) for unknown reasons, breathing difficulties for unknown reasons, dizziness, loss of consciousness, high blood pressure (>140/90 mm Hg), heart disease, kidney dysfunction, high blood lipid (cholesterol >240mg/D1), family history of heart disease (any of your lineal relatives suffered from heart diseases or sudden death before the age of 60), or seizure.

4) If you start feeling unwell during the race, please stop immediately and seek help from the medical team!

5) In accordance with the race rules set by Spartan Race, USA, the organizer “strongly” suggest all racers purchase additional insurance of individual sports. Due to the restrictions of Taiwanese law, we cannot offer the insurance products on the website for you. However, the organizer will send the insurance information to your personal email address for your reference.
